Moving through Physical & Emotional Challenges to Hope and Healing

Welcome,

I am glad you are here. My name is Kelli and I am a Certified Holistic Wellness Coach specializing in overall health, wellness, and also specializing in grief and trauma. Additionally, I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor for over 25 years. You can learn more about my support in Personal Training here, and my Yoga classes and instruction here

In my role of Wellness Coaching, my passion is to support clients who are dealing with the emotional impact of sadness, hopelessness, feeling lost, and are struggling with sleep issues, physical pain and discomfort as a result of the following:

  • The death of a loved one

  • The end of an important relationship

  • Miscarriages and the death of a child

  • The loss of a beloved pet

In our culture we have a tendency to put on a brave mask and bury our emotions. We may pretend that everything is “just fine”, however the insides and outsides don’t match. It’s not unusual for the individuals that I support to share that they did not learn ways in which to grieve. They did not have a loved one who modeled healthy grieving in their family or friend circle. This is why it can be so hard to move through seasons of grief.

Many people receive messages like, “stop crying!”, “pull yourself up by your bootstraps”, “others have it way worse than you do, “it’ll get better, just give it some time.” Some of my clients feel such a deep sense of sadness that it feels almost impossible to reach out for help, and others are isolated and don’t have anyone to discuss these very difficult feelings with.

Contrary to popular belief, grief is not experienced in neat and tidy stages, and healing is not a one size fits all process. I believe in my core that everyone deserves to be heard during this traumatic season of life. It is not unusual for people who have experienced a significant loss to move between the stages of grieving. They may feel the following at any particular stage:

  • Disbelief

  • Irritability

  • Numbness

  • Loneliness

  • Hopelessness

  • Sadness

  • Confusion

  • Anxiety

  • Frustration

  • Hurt

  • Depression

  • Shock

If you have recently experienced a death or loss in your life, I want you to know that as a person who has also experienced grief and loss, you are not alone. You do not have to go through this time all by yourself, I am here to support and help you gently move from hurting to healing. I provide a safe, supportive and compassionate space so that you are able to work with me at your own pace - mind, body and spirit.

If you are ready for support, I encourage you to reach out to schedule a first session.
I look forward to helping you heal what is hurting you.
